4. How do you classify the RO System?
Generally RO System can be classified in to two types.
1. Domestic RO System 2. Industrial RO System

5. Few Information about Domestic RO System
A small RO System with 5 stage purification system is called as Domestic RO system. There are various designs available in Domestic models which will give us 12Ltrs/hour & 24Ltrs/hour of pure & sweet water. These models are available with or without storage tank and also with external storage tank.

These systems can be operated with Max of 2000 TDS inlet water and RO can reduce the TDS upto 95%. The only draw back of these system are water wastage (i.e) we can set only 20Ltrs of pure water out of 100 Ltrs of Raw water. So 80Ltrs of water will be flushed out per hour.

6. Few Information about Industrial RO System
Industrial RO System is not a ready made unit and it has to be designed according to the raw water TDS & our requirement. Generally before going for industrial model RO System, we must test our water for chemical analysis to know about the percentage of salts available accordingly we have to do some pre treatment for a better RO design. Any capacity of Industrial RO System can be made with the help of different type of membrane and pumps available in the market.
Few ready made models are available in the market are 100Lph, 250Lph and 500Lph.
The cost and design of the RO System varies according to the Raw Water TDS and different type of salts in it. We can take upto 50% recovery from Industrial RO System and only 50% will be wasted out.
